Hyatt Place Denver-South/Park Meadows

Rooms with a separated sofa area, a free breakfast buffet, and a heated indoor pool. The middle of the road pick that works for two nights or two weeks without excelling at either.

Hyatt Place sits on Westview Road just off the Lone Tree side of the corridor, about 1.9 miles from Centennial Airport and roughly ten minutes of driving from the FBOs. It is the least distinctive property in this group — which is not an insult. It does most things adequately and nothing badly, and for a lot of trips that is the correct answer.

The Sofa Is The Reason To Book

Hyatt Place rooms are built around a separated seating area with a sofa sleeper, and that layout does something specific for aviation guests that a standard king does not. Two pilots sharing a room can actually coexist: one sleeps, the other works on the sofa with a light on, and neither is sitting on the edge of a bed with a laptop balanced on their knees. Charter passengers traveling with a kid get a place to put them. Somebody waiting out a maintenance delay gets a spot to sit that is not the mattress.

It is a small thing that compounds over a multi night stay. If your crew regularly doubles up to save on rooms, this layout is worth an extra ten or fifteen dollars a night over a comparable box.

Feeding Yourself At Odd Hours

Mornings

The free breakfast buffet is included with the rate and it is a real one. There is also a coffee bar in the lobby, which covers the gap before the buffet opens.

Late arrivals and everything else

There is a small kitchen operation at the front of the house that can put together a hot item outside of breakfast hours, and it is the difference between eating something at ten thirty at night and eating a granola bar from your flight bag. Do not confuse it with a restaurant. Portions and hours are limited, the menu is short, and if you want a proper dinner you are driving five minutes to the Park Meadows and Lone Tree restaurant cluster like everyone else in this corridor. Rooms have a mini refrigerator but no cooktop, so cooking is not an option here the way it is at Element.

Hangar Talk

Several booking sites still list a free shuttle for this property. Do not plan around it. Confirm directly with the front desk when you reserve, and assume you are driving yourself or arranging a ride share from the FBO. Ride share coverage in this part of Lone Tree thins out badly before six in the morning, so if you have an early block time, book the car the night before rather than opening the app at 4:45.

Nobody Is Driving You To The Ramp

Worth repeating on its own, because it is the single most common wrong assumption guests make about this hotel.

Who This Fits

The 4.3 average across roughly 1,039 reviews puts it near the top of this group, and it earns that through consistency rather than any one standout feature. A heated indoor pool, a 24 hour fitness room with real Life Fitness cardio equipment and free weights, a business center, and free wifi cover the basics. Nothing here will disappoint you and nothing will surprise you.

We would book it for a two to four night stay where a crew is doubling up, for charter passengers who want something comfortable without the Marriott price, and for a flight student in town for a week of intensive training who needs a pool and a gym to stay sane. We would not book it over Element for a month long maintenance stay, and we would not book it over the Holiday Inn if the only thing that mattered was minutes to the ramp.

The hotel is clean and in excellent condition. Our room was spacious enough for our family of four. The manager was very helpful and friendly. I actually love this hotel and will come back on our next trip to Denver. The breakfast is hot and had a lot more than a continental breakfast. They had non-pork options with their eggs and sausages. That is greatly appreciated by those that do not eat pork.

This hotel was better than I expected. Only big issue was only 1 elevator working. This was aggravated due to max capacity with a hockey tournament going on. Elevator was slow as well. This caused backup at the elevator and being packed in to get upstairs. The best part was rooms were updated except for popcorn ceilings. There were lots of good things like- 1. Update rooms with larger TVs and HDMI easy to do comp...

The hotel was exceptional! The staff was upmost courteous, and professional at all times. I was here on business and my room was awesome. The bed was good condition and the cleanliness of my room was outstanding. I cannot recommend this place enough to any traveler whether it’s like vacation or business.

Frequently Asked

Does Hyatt Place Denver-South/Park Meadows have an airport shuttle?
Several booking sites still advertise one, but the hotel does not reliably run shuttle service. Confirm directly with the front desk before you rely on it, and assume you need a rental car or a ride share from the FBO. Ride share availability in Lone Tree is thin before 6:00 a.m.
Is breakfast included?
Yes, a free breakfast buffet comes with the rate, and there is a lobby coffee bar for earlier starts. A small kitchen at the front of the house can also make a hot item outside breakfast hours, which helps on late arrivals.
How far is the hotel from Centennial Airport?
About 1.9 miles in a straight line and roughly ten minutes of driving from the FBO ramps. Park Meadows mall and the Lone Tree restaurant cluster are around five minutes away.
