Every other hotel in this batch sits west of Centennial Airport in the Tech Center. This one does not. It is tucked into the Meridian business park on El Diente Court, south of the field near Lincoln Avenue, and you approach the airport from a different direction entirely.

The Southern Approach Is A Real Advantage

Two point one miles, roughly eight minutes, running north through Meridian toward Broncos Parkway and the south side of the field. What you are buying with that routing is independence from the I-25 and Arapahoe Road interchange, which is the single reliable traffic problem in this corridor and the reason a two-mile drive from a Tech Center hotel can take fifteen minutes at the wrong hour.

If your operation regularly uses the south-side hangars and FBO facilities, this is the closest branded hotel by drive time even though it is not the closest by straight-line distance. If you are always on the west ramp, the difference is small enough to ignore.

The trade is quiet. Meridian empties out after six in the evening. There is very little to walk to, and dinner means driving toward Park Meadows or back up into the Tech Center. Some people want exactly that after a long duty day. Others find it bleak.

Rooms And The Morning

Breakfast runs on the Express Start buffet from 6:30 am on weekdays, which is early enough for most crew show times and earlier than several of the Tech Center hotels manage. Rooms carry the standard kit:

  • Refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker in every room
  • In-room safe, free wifi, free parking
  • Heated indoor pool — open year round, unlike the outdoor pools nearby
  • Fitness center and a 24-hour business center
  • Laundry and dry cleaning service, and a 24-hour front desk

At 4.3 across a smaller review count, this is the highest-rated property in this group. Smaller hotels tend to score better than large ones, so read that as a well-run building rather than a luxury one.

Hangar Talk

Confirm the breakfast window before a weekend departure. The 6:30 am weekday start typically slides later on Saturday and Sunday, which catches crews out on a weekend early show. If you are launching before the buffet opens, the front desk will usually put together a bag the night before if you ask — but you have to ask, and you have to ask early.

Fit By Trip Type

Overnight crew stop

Strong. Early breakfast, quiet lot, quick run to the field without touching I-25. Hard to do better for a single night if you are not attached to the Tech Center.

Maintenance tech on a multi-week job

Workable but not ideal. The refrigerator and microwave cover breakfast and reheating; they do not cover cooking. Over four weeks that gap costs more than the nightly rate difference against a true extended-stay property. Stay here for one to five nights and move to a kitchen suite for anything longer.

Charter passenger or owner

Fine, but understand what Meridian is: an office park with no restaurants inside walking distance. If your passengers expect somewhere to have dinner without a car, book them in the Tech Center instead.

Winter Considerations

Meridian sits at roughly 5,900 feet on open ground south of the metro, and it takes weather a little harder than the sheltered Tech Center streets do. When a spring upslope storm parks over the Front Range, the Lincoln Avenue corridor drifts and the plows get to it after the arterials. Nothing dramatic, but if you are launching early after an overnight snowfall, build in extra time and clear the car before you need it. The indoor pool earns its keep on exactly those days.

Bottom Line

The indoor pool and the southern routing are the two things nothing else on this list offers. If either one matters to your trip, book it. If neither does, the Tech Center hotels put you closer to food and cost about the same.

My kids can’t stop talking about how much they love it here. May daughter (11) had this to say: I really like this place! You should come here! It was really nice to have the heated pool. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The breakfast is peak!!! I give this place 5 stars! (She also took these photos.)

Outstanding quality and value! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel staff were kind and considerate about my room preference. They communicated with me prior to my arrival and paid close attention to my needs when I checked in. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The room quiet. The bed and pillows very comfortable. I actually got my first 100 sleep score at this hotel! I also enjoyed a swim in the poo...

Stayed at the Holiday Inn & Suites Englewood for 6 nights in April 2026. This was one of the best experiences we've ever had as far as all around comfort and satisfaction. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal, the staff was accommodating, receptive, and welcoming. The room had all we needed and housekeeping kept the room tidy and refreshed each day. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.
