Read the name carefully, because it is doing some work. This is the Hilton Garden Inn Denver South Park Meadows Area, and "area" is carrying the sentence. The hotel is on Meridian Boulevard in the Meridian office park off I-25, about three miles from Park Meadows mall and 2.1 miles from Centennial Airport in a straight line. Figure twelve minutes of driving from the FBOs. It is a fine hotel. It is not next to a mall.
Meridian Is An Office Park, Not A Mall District
What surrounds this property is corporate campuses, parking structures, and landscaped berms. Nothing is walkable except the hotel's own patio. That is worth knowing before you turn in a rental car, and worth knowing if you were picturing an evening of wandering into somewhere for dinner.
The upside of the location is the interstate. You are right off I-25, which makes this the easiest of the six to reach if you are coming from downtown Denver, DIA, or anywhere south toward Castle Rock. For an owner who flies into KAPA and then has business elsewhere in the metro, that access is genuinely more useful than being four minutes closer to the field.
The Garden Grille Carries This Hotel
Most limited service hotels near the airport hand you a waffle iron and wish you luck. This one has a kitchen that cooks to order, for breakfast and again for dinner, plus a bar. The Pavilion Lounge runs a Bloody Mary bar on weekends — a strange thing to advertise to a pilot group and a welcome thing for the passengers.

The weekend breakfast start time is the one to watch. A 7:00 a.m. opening does not help a crew with an 8:00 a.m. block time on a Saturday, and this hotel is far enough from anything else that there is no quick alternative. Plan on the pantry or on coffee at the FBO.
Breakfast is not bundled into the rate here the way it is at Tru or Element, but Hilton Honors members can often select a food and beverage credit as their stay benefit, which effectively covers it. Select that at booking, not at check in. Two people eating cooked to order breakfast for three mornings is real money otherwise.
A Desk, A Chair, And A Fireplace In The Lobby
Hilton Garden Inn rooms are built around actually working in them, which is the brand's longstanding advantage over its cheaper siblings. You get a proper desk with a decent chair, not a wall shelf and a stool. There is a lobby fireplace, a 24 hour fitness center, free wifi throughout, free parking, and flexible event space for a small meeting, which makes this a workable second choice if the Marriott is full and your group is under about thirty people. There is also a picnic area with barbecue grills outside, which sounds like a suburban afterthought and turns out to be genuinely pleasant on a summer evening when the alternative is another restaurant meal.
Where It Comes Up Short
- No in room kitchen, so long maintenance stays belong at Element
- Nothing within walking distance of the front door
- Breakfast costs extra and opens late on weekends
- Furthest of the six from the field once you account for the I-25 interchange
The 4.0 average across roughly 1,132 reviews is the lowest in this group, and the pattern in the criticism is age rather than service. Some rooms have been refreshed and some have not, and guests notice the difference. Ask for a renovated room when you book. For a solo trip built around a desk, a good dinner, and easy highway access, it holds up.

★★★☆☆ 2 months agoMy room wasn't cleaned after the first night and there was no water fountain or anything to get water from so that you'd end up buying it from their store. The floor i was on did smell like people have been smoking in it but the room and bathroom itself were clean and spacious. I'd only recommend this if you need a place to sleep and thats it.

★☆☆☆☆ 2 months agoGood location and that is the extent of the good. This is a tired hotel badly in need of a refresh/remodel. The carpet is DIRTY, worn out and tattered. Our first room smelled horribly so we changed rooms. No fans in the bathroom and one elevator was out of service. If you like dirty, tired, smelly hotels, this is your spot. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
