Comfort Suites Denver Tech Center is the value pick in this corridor, and it makes no pretense otherwise. Seventy-eight suites at 7374 South Clinton Street, about 1.6 miles from Centennial Airport and roughly eight minutes from the FBOs, at a rate that regularly lands below everything else on this page. The building is not new. The rooms are bigger than the price implies. Both of those things are true at once.
Seventy Eight Suites at a Weeknight Price
Every room here is a suite, which in the midscale segment means a separate sitting area with a sofa bed, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker rather than a kitchen you'd cook a real meal in. That configuration lands well for two specific KAPA cases: a two-person crew who would rather share a suite than burn two room nights, and a charter passenger group where somebody needs a place to spread out paperwork.
Whirlpool suites are available if you ask for one at booking, and the sofa-bed layouts sleep four without anybody sleeping on the floor. Free wifi throughout, a business center with printing, and a fitness room round it out. There's no restaurant and no bar, so plan dinner elsewhere.
The Drury Inn is a tenth of a mile away, and the two properties compete directly. If free evening food and drinks matter to you, book the Drury. If a lower base rate and an indoor pool matter more, book this one. Anybody comparing them on room quality alone is splitting a very fine hair.
The Indoor Pool Earns Its Keep in January
This is the detail that separates it from the cheaper options further out.
An indoor heated pool and hot tub are worth real money on the Front Range between November and March, when the outdoor pools at half the hotels near the field are drained and fenced. If you're flying a family in for a week over winter, or you've got a maintenance stay running through a cold snap, the difference between an indoor pool and a seasonal one is the difference between an amenity and a photograph.
Read the 4.0 Honestly
Just over a thousand people have rated this hotel, and they landed on a 4.0. That's not a warning, it's an accurate description of a clean, dated, well-run midscale hotel. Reviewers consistently praise room size, bedding, towel supply, and the breakfast. They consistently note tired common areas and finishes that are a renovation cycle behind the Hilton and Marriott properties nearby. If you show up expecting the Four Points and pay half as much, you'll be annoyed for the wrong reasons.
The free hot breakfast runs early enough for most departure slots — waffles, eggs, and real coffee rather than a pastry basket. There's also a manager's reception on some evenings. If you have a pre-dawn show time, grab what you can the night before, because no breakfast bar in this corridor opens at 0430 and the nearest 24-hour option is a drive toward I-25.
Use It For
- Cost-controlled crew stops where the operator caps the room rate
- Flight students in for a week of training who need space to lay out charts and study
- Families joining an owner on a trip, especially in winter for the indoor pool
- Any stay of three to seven nights where a full kitchen isn't worth the upcharge
What it's not good for is impressing anybody, or a stay past two weeks — the microwave-and-fridge setup that's fine for five nights gets old fast, and Homewood Suites or StudioRes will do that job better for similar money on a long booking.
What Visitors Say

★★★☆☆ 2 weeks agoThe bath tub was supposed to be a soaking tub and it was a standard tub at best. The room was slightly dirty and when we called for more bedding and towels, nobody brought them up. We had to go downstairs to get them. The breakfast was great and the pool was fun but otherwise, this was a budget stay. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

★★★★★ a month agoThe room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and Stephanie at the front desk was professional, kind and courteous in a difficult situation. A housekeeper shortage caused a delay in room turns, so our checkin was delayed almost 2 hours. Stephanie let my grandson use the pool while we waited and kept me updated on the room situation. At breakfast the next morning, they made some sausages that were dairy free fo...

★★☆☆☆ 2 months agoThe room had a smell of paint. When getting in the shower in the morning there was visible mold in the seams of the shower. The complimentary breakfast was abysmal. Aka white bread in the basket only. Only eggs and sausage links. Cold. This location has gone downhill and very quickly. Unlikely that I will return to this location.
