I love nature and I love hiking 🌳🌞🚶‍♀️ 🌲 There are several different hikes in Matthew Winters Park, I especially enjoy the Dakota Ridge trail that starts at the Stegosaurus Lot. But the ones across the street off the main lot location are great too, just more people, but the bathroom facility is a plus, and I really like to sit on the large red rock a bit down the Red Rocks trail. Ive been pleasantly surprised by many of the parks here is the Denver area and Matthews /Winters didn’t disappoint. It is a great park close to e475 and I70. Plenty of parking and nice trails. Moderate difficulty if you’re older like me. The trails go all way to red rocks and are very scenic. There is nice loop that is around 2 miles . Toilets are available at the trailhead

Clean bathrooms, friendly people out on the trail, 0 dog poop I could see. All hallmarks of a great trail
